The 18th Asian Financial Forum 2025 (AFF), co-organised by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 13 and 14 January 2025. Themed “Powering the Next Growth Engine”, this year’s AFF brought together more than 100 global policymakers, business leaders, financial experts and investors, entrepreneurs, tech companies and economists to share their views on the shifting global economic landscape and financial ecosystem.

The inaugural Smart Lighting Expo and 15th Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Spring Edition) (Spring Lighting Fair) concluded successfully. The twin lighting fairs welcomed some 16,000 buyers from 107 countries and regions, making a strong start to the HKTDC technology fairs in April.

Florian Berendt of EntoSus, Global Winner of Start-up Express International 2024, talks to the HKTDC at Entrepreneur Day 2024. The 14th Business of IP Asia Forum (BIP Asia Forum), jointly organised by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, and the 16th Entrepreneur Day (E-Day), hosted by the HKTDC, are held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 5-6 December 2024. Over 400 start-ups and innovative projects are showcased their products and technologies.

Erez Agmoni, General Partner of Interwoven Ventures (United States) speaks to the HKTDC at the Asian Logistics, Maritime and Aviation Conference (ALMAC). Co-organised by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the 14th ALMAC was held on 18-19 November 2024 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Under the theme “Shaping the Future of Supply Chains: Resilience and Sustainability”, this year’s ALMAC featured more than 80 experts and industry leaders from the maritime, air freight, logistics and supply chain sector speaking on major issues facing the industry at over 20 conference sessions. The conference attracted some 2,200 participants from over 30 countries and regions, providing a platform for industry players and shippers to explore global business opportunities and establish resilient and sustainable supply chains.
