The Ministry of Commerce and the Hong Kong SAR Government encourage Hong Kong enterprises interested in expanding overseas markets to make use of the overseas economic and trade cooperation zones built in the Mainland to develop their business. It has initially selected five overseas economic and trade cooperation zones located in ASEAN countries familiar to Hong Kong enterprises: Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park (Malaysia), Thai-China Rayong Industrial Park (Thailand), China-Indonesia Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone, Huaxia Happy Karawang Industrial New Town (Indonesia) and Sihanoukville Port Special Economic Zone (Cambodia). In order to help interested Hong Kong enterprises understand the policies and investment environment of the five parks in detail, dock projects and expand business opportunities, the Trade Department of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government and the "Belt and Road" Office of the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government will jointly organize the "Making Good Use of Overseas Economic and Trade Cooperation Zones," To explore new business opportunities under the Belt and Road Initiative, the Hong Kong business community entered the "Four Countries and Five industrial parks" Online Exchange (hereinafter referred to as the Exchange) to introduce the above five overseas economic and trade cooperation zones to the Hong Kong business community. The first event will focus on the Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park (Malaysia) and the Thai-China Rayong Industrial Park (Thailand). The second event focused on the China-Indonesia Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone, Huaxia Happy Karawang Industrial New Town (Indonesia) and Sihanouk Port Special Economic Zone (Cambodia).
