Vietnam - Long Thanh International Airport (Phase 1)

About this project

The development of the first phase of a new airport in Dong Nai province, southern Vietnam.

The airport will cover 50 square km and shall be equipped with four runways and four terminals, with a maximum capacity of 100 million passengers a year. It will eventually replace the over-stretched Tan Son Nhat International Airport as Ho Chi Minh City's main aviation hub. 

The first of the airport's three phases is scheduled for completion by 2025, with the Phases 2 and 3 slated for 2030 and 2035 respectively. The airport is estimated to be able to handle 25 million passengers a year ince completed.

The construction of the entire airport will cost VND 336.63trn.
