The Universal Structural Health Evaluation and Recording System (USHER) is a 24/7 building structural health monitoring system composed of an advanced accelerograph, a web portal system and a mobile application. It is a key solution to address disaster risk reduction specially in urban cities to reduce economic and human loss and is aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The technology can be installed in buildings, bridges, and other critical structures, aids engineers and building owners & administrators to monitor structural integrity and performance under seismic and other events. It is economical, convenient and fully compliant with government regulations. It is a vital component in building Smart cities.   In  2019, Usher Technologies won the World Summit Awards Global Congress “Smart Settlement in Urbanization” in Lisbon, Portugal in March 2019.      In 2020, Usher Technologies won the United Nations Office of Product Services (UNOPS) Global Innovation Center held in Kobe, Japan in November 2020.  Usher competed with over 600 participants, and won the 1st spot over 25 finalists.   In 2021, Usher Technologies was awarded by DOST during the National Science Technology Week the Gregorio Y. Zara award, Best Technology Commercialization Award.
