TITAN: Vehicle Monitoring Systems

We have developed a software system that can process videos of various traffic road scenes under different weather conditions. Our system can track vehicles and pedestrians; it can generate useful traffic data such as traffic volume and density, speeds of movement, and identify concentrations of vehicular and human activity over long periods of time. While existing state-of-the-art vision-based monitoring facilities require computing platforms and set-ups that can be prohibitively expensive for ordinary businesses, we offer a solution that performs well with relatively cheaper computing hardware and a conveniently accessible intuitive web interface.
