Terminal Portuário de Alcântara

The Alcântara Port Terminal (TPA) has associated its 215km Railway that will connect it to the Carajas Railroad and thus allow access, at a very competitive price, to ore from Para State and Soy and Corn from the Midwest and MATOPIBA. The TPA can have 8 piers with a depth of 25 meters, allowing access to the largest ships in the world. The port area is 12,000,000 square meters. Its areas are designed for iron ore, agribusiness and energy. It has an exclusive dual navigation channel in São Marcos Bay and a maximum level of safety in navigability tests.
