Chicken Abattoir with a capacity of 6,000-8,000bph

Ratan Poultry farm is situated in the North-West Province. The farm currently has broiler production facilities with a production capacity of 300,000 chickens per cycle (2.25 million/yr.) and is currently contracted to Kroon’s Poultry North West of Pretoria. The design and layout of the abattoir is done for a slaughter capacity of 6,000 birds per hour, or 240,000 chickens per week, based on a single shift of 8 hours per day.
