Salt Refining Plant in Indonesia

This year, the national salt demand is predicted to reach 4.6 million tons & about 84% is the need for industrial salt which increasing every year. This salt produced by the people is still of relatively low quality with 86- 94% NaCl content that does not meet the standards according to industrial salt quality with a minimum of 97-99% NaCl content. To process high-quality salt according to industry standards, high and modern technology is needed, because it currently uses conventional or simple methods. The Development of industrial salt is part of the National Strategic Project based on Presidential Regulation Number 109 of 2020 concerning the Acceleration of National Strategic Projects.
