ROMANIA CO-LOCATED BESS Portfolio - 20 operating PV sites

The project aims to co-locate BESS at 20 operational PV parks in Romania where MALMA has existing client relationships. Each site is envisaged at approx. 5 MW / 20 MWh, giving an indicative aggregate of 100 MW / 400 MWh. MALMA would act as developer, EPC contractor and long term operator, with third party optimizer handling energy trading. Romania offers one of the highest DAM price spreads in EU and a maturing balancing market (aFRR/mFRR) open to battery participation, alongside strong policy support for storage. MALMA is exploring capital structure options. Discussions at this stage are exploratory; structure interests include, among others, platform-level equity, portfolio level debt.
