Project Grid

Project Grid has developed technology including SaaS software, and a unique grid device to improve the stability and capacity of electricity networks. It solves the problem that electicity grids are built to manage one-way flow of power which creates huge bottlenecks when integrating renewables. Project Grid's solution enables and optimizes de-centralizied renewable assets by allowing two-way flow. This creates a more stable grid, more renewable deployment, and enhanced returns for infrastructure owners. The Australian company is in early-stage commercialization with revenue for the current year forecast to be circa $10 million. They have received a number of grants so far from the Australian Federal Govt (to build a manufacting plant) and the South Australian and Queensland State Governments for development. The company is currently doing demonstrations of the technology in Portugal and Italy and is in commercialisation discussions with the Japanese Government.
