NCC’s Smart City: Digital Government Platform

The New Clark City is envisioned to be the country’s first full Smart City Metropolis. Development will focus mainly on the adoption of Information & Communications Technology (ICT) and Internet-of-Things (IoT) as primary resources for data collection, processing, analysis, management and automation.With the completion of the NCC Smart City Technology Roadmap, BCDA is now preparing its plans for its realization, starting with the implementation of eGovernment Digital Platform. This platform will provide access to city information, online transactions for permits and licensing application, compliances to the customs, immigration and quarantine, online billing and payment and other web-based services enabling online transactions. It will be equipped with Data Exchange Platform where data can be shared, exchanged, processed and managed electronically.
