Long-Term Operations and Maintenance of NCC Sports Facilities

The NCC Sports Precinct is composed of the following facilities: 1.          Athletes’ Village, a 525-unit PWD-friendly accommodation facility for national athletes, coaches and visitors complete with training and gym equipment, conference rooms, kitchen and dining, basketball court, swimming pool and deck gardens; 2.          Athletics Stadium, a 20,000-seater Olympic stadium with a 9-lane 400-m track and field oval and a 4-lane warm-up track. The stadium meets the global standards of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF); 3.          Aquatics Center, a Fédération Internationale de Natation (FINA)-certified facility with 2,000-seater arena, a 10-lane Olympic-size swimming pool, a diving pool, and a warm-up training pool.   The Project involves the a possible public-private partnership arrangement or a service agreement for the operations and maintenance of the NCC Sports Precinct particularly the following: Facilities Management - involves the whole range of facility operations, venue management as well as retail management for all three major facilities; Programming and Events - development and implementation of sports programs, event strategies, commercial, promotion and marketing and other new initiatives using technology; and Possible expansion and additional construction works for multi-use indoor sports
