Local Manufacturing

• In line with the objectives of Saudi national vision 2030, several programs were initiated by the main industries and government bodies to boost the local manufacturing and services sectors in order to increase the local content from current 36% to 50% by 2030. The drive to increase local content in procurement in Saudi Arabia presents a unique set of opportunities for Chinese companies. • The Saudi government estimates that SAR 270bn of opportunities for local businesses can be generated, and sectors with high demands include industrials, electronics, gadgets, auto/NEV, consumables, 3D printing etc.
