The Logistics Platform located in the Port of Taranto covers a total area of nearly 200,000 square metres. Located within the port estate, the platform can act as an intermodal centre and provide cargo services, being connected by rail/road links to the national network. The Port of Taranto is the focus of the Interregional Special Economic Zone. Furthermore, the Customs Free Zone offers the exclusive benefit to carry out activities free of customs duties.
