Mercato Coperto is strategically located in the historic center of Ferrara, a few steps away from the main attractions and well connected with car parks and the public transport system . From 1995 on, UNESCO has included Ferrara in the list of World Cultural Heritage as a wonderful example of a town planned in the Renaissance and still keeping its historical centre intact, great historical and architectural monuments include the Estense Castle, the Cathedral, the Palazzo dei Diamanti and the almost still complete medieval walls that surround the historical centre .
