Data Science for Human-centred Education

In the new era of data science and digital world, many public and private organisations are starting to make use of or even rely on digital technology and data infrastructure for their services and operations. There are various challenges in managing the underlying operations and services in making sure that the data, the infrastructure, the models and decisions are human-centred, appropriate for the users, effective for the purposes and serving the welfare of humanity as a priority. A framework for data science and digital education which is human-centred by design from start will benefit the resultant education and qualifications for the digital and data literacy of responsible global citizens along the road and the subsequent services and operations of many private and public organizations for the benefits of their users and humanity as a whole.
