China-UAE Industrial Capacity Cooperation Demonstration Zone

China-UAE Industrial Capacity Cooperation Demonstration Zone is a landmark industrial project to implement the consensus reached by the leaders of both countries under the "Belt and Road" Initiative. The Demonstration Zone is located in Khalifa Economic Zone Abu Dhabi, adjacent to Khalifa Port and covering a total land area of 12.2 km². To date, it has finished infrastructure construction within the 2.2 km² start-up area and attracted more than a dozen of manufacturers and business companies. Last October, the Demonstration Zone ushered in another milestone that the first company, Superview Metals Manufacturing Industry, started production. It provides customers with developed land, built-to-suit factories, office space and staff accommodation and so on. With well-developed infrastructure and best service in the region, the Demonstration Zone welcomes companies of all sectors from all-around the world, including but not limited to high-end manufacturing, new energy, IT and AI. In February 2023, H.E. Lee Ka Chiu John, HKSAR Chief Executive visited the Demonstration Zone with a large business delegation and highly appraised its achievements.
