About this project
Being optimistic toward the HKSAR government in polishing Hong Kong into a metropolitan of innovation and technology through offering relentless resources and golden opportunities, it is foreseeable that HK, partnered with the GBA, will be transforming into a breeding ground for biotechnology start-up unicorns. According to the 2021 Policy Address, HK is now the world’s second-largest fund-raising market for biotech companies, and the number of start-ups will reach a record high of 3755 in 2021. Under the favorable operating environment, Master Masker strikes for being the first ever unicorn in HK in the life science sector. Under the progress of the construction of HK-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park, Master Masker intends to establish BTRCC, in the designated location. While university can uphold their profession and first-class quality on research and education, in reality, the disparity between invention and its application is obviously widening. Most researchers are dedicated to their contribution to scientific discovery, without noticing the importance of bringing the innovation down to the a community for social improvement.
