Bangladesh - 100MW two grid-tied Solar Power Project

The Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) has issued a tender for 4 projects of 50MW each to be developed near the substations of Netrakona, Mymensingh, Chuadanga and Chittagong. Now it is seeking bids for 2X50MW for solar power plants near the substations of Netrakona and Chuadanga. These projects will be developed on a build, own and operate (BOO) basis at 2 sites near 132/33 kV substations in Chuadanga and Netrokona. The agency is seeking bids from project sponsors to develop these grid tied projects that need to be in operation for 20 years. Financing for the 100MW capacity needs to be arranged by the winner.
