Bahrain - Metro PPP

The Kingdom of Bahrain is planning a major light rail PPP, with launch planned for late 2019. The project involves the construction of phase one of Bahrain’s Light Rail Transit (LRT) network, the DBFM of a 30km stretch of rail.

The Kingdom completed feasibility studies for the project – which will form part of Bahrain’s Public Transport Masterplan 2030 – in November 2017.
