Bacolod City Renewable Energy Plan

With the high cost of electricity and an unreliable grid, Bacolod City plans to tap into readily available sources of renewable energy to provide for 100% of its needs using geothermal, hydropowr, wind and solar energy. It aims to achieve 100% renewable energy supply for Bacolod City, reduce electricty cost for residents and businesses, enhance renergy reliability by minimizing its dependence on the conventional grid and mitigate the city's carbon footprint and contribute to environmental sustainability.
