About this project
1. Rolling out an Efficient Subic Public Transport System and Services · E-vehicles · E-vehicle Stations 2. Reactivating and Enhancing Subic's Airport · The Subic Bay International Airport (SBIA) stands on a sprawling 200-hectare facility, with runway that spans 2,744 meters by 45 meters that could accommodate various types of aircrafts. • The Subic Bay International Airport is easily accessible to the dragon and emerging economies in the Asia-Pacific region. • The Philippines liberal aviation policy, the Subic Bay International Airport’s strategic location, the local workforce’s mastery especially of the English language, and the attractive incentives and privileges under the country’s Freeport regime. 3. Expansion of the New Container Terminal (NCT) The New Container Terminal (NCT) can currently handle a capacity of 600,000 TEUs annually. The intention is to expand it to increase its capacity. 4. Redondo Link Bridge Background: The Redondo Peninsula and its areas facing the bay is currently planned as an industrial zone, while leisure and cruise tourism is planned for the caves facing the West Philippine Sea. At present, the area is accessed from a road navigating Olongapo, Subic and Castillejos, or by means of ship. Connectivity has been a challenge within the Subic Special Economic Freeport Zone (SSEFZ).
