Announcement on the Reform of the Integrated Regional Customs Clearance Along the Silk Road Economic Belt

According to the Announcement on the Reform of the Integrated Regional Customs Clearance Along the Silk Road Economic Belt (issued by the General Administration of Customs on 30 March 2015), reform will be carried out in the customs areas of 10 cities along the Silk Road Economic Belt. This will form part of an initiative to implement the One Belt, One Road national development strategy and accelerate the pace of reform of integrated regional customs clearance in areas with close economic ties. The 10 designated cities – all of which form an integral part of the Silk Road Economic Belt – are Qingdao, Jinan, Zhengzhou, Taiyuan, Xian, Lanzhou, Yinchuan, Xining, Urumqi and Lhasa, in the nine provinces and autonomous regions of Shandong, Henan, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Qinghai, Xinjiang and Tibet.
