Biomass Energy Systems Inc. (BESI) is a technology development company located in the United States, delivering technologies related to the production of alternative energy from indigenous resources such as domestic wastes, coal, biomass, agricultural wastes and industrial wastes. BESI has developed technologies for energy conversion applications that are particularly innovative and adaptable; its TurnW2E® gasification system is currently being offered for use by such diverse clients as the industries, municipalities, and universities in the US and abroad. BESI specializes in supply of modular systems for small to midsize applications. On waste processing side, turnkey systems are supplied for processing wastes ranging from 25 tons per day to 500 tons per day. On energy output side, power generation ranges from 1 MW to 25 MW. Alternatively, if the system is used for steam generation, steam generation ranges from 75 tons per day to 2000 tons per day.
