Cagayan Economic Zone Authority

The Cagayan Economic Zone Authority is a government owned and controlled corporation tasked with managing and developing the 54,000-hectare Cagayan Freeport. CEZA is directly under the O ffi ce of the President which provides ascendancy for investment promotion and employment generation in the area. CEZA’s vision is to develop the zone into a major transshipment hub, an agro industrial growth center, a gaming and tourism haven as well as a hub for blockchain and financial technology. Being located in the northeastern-most corner of the main island Luzon, the Cagayan Freeport is the closest Philippine Freeport to East Asian countries such as China, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
