Planning and construction of the Sino-Arab Capacity Cooperation Demonstration Park in the Abu Dhabi Industrial Park in the United Arab Emirates is a major cooperation project for the implementation of the "One Belt and One Road" initiative between the leaders of the two countries. At the end of 2016, the National Development and Reform Commission confirmed the leading role of Jiangsu Province. In order to optimise the integration of resources in the province and to improve the management level of overseas parks effectively, with the help of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Zhongjiang International Group took the lead in cooperating with 4 national development zones, namely Suzhou Industrial Park, Jiangning Economic Development Zone, Yangzhou Economic Development Zone, and Haimen Economic Development Zone. The Development Zone jointly established Jiangsu Provincial Overseas Cooperation and Investment Co., Ltd., which is responsible for the development and operation of the demonstration park. At the same time, in order to bridge the gap between the local banking services and the needs of Chinese-funded enterprises, effectively revitalise the overseas assets of Chinese-funded enterprises and solve the difficulties of overseas financing for SMEs, the demonstration park will establish the "China-UAE Cooperation Capacity Financial Service Platform".
