In December 2015, President Xi Jinping met with Mohammed, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, and reached a series of important consensuses on strengthening cooperation between production capacity of the two sides. The China-Arab Cooperation Demonstration Park is a major project that implements important consensus between the leaders of the two countries. The China-UAE (United Arab Emirates) Capacity Cooperation Demonstration Park is a district park in the Khalifa Industrial Zone (KIZAD) in Abu Dhabi. It is adjacent to the Khalifa Port and is 60 km and 100 km away from Abu Dhabi and Dubai respectively. The demonstration park has a 2.2 square kilometer start-up zone in Area A of the Khalifa Industrial Zone and 10 square kilometers in Area B as a long-term construction site.
