Hong Kong tech shines on global stage at CES 2026
Home-grown innovations win awards at major tech gathering.

Hong Kong tech enterprises have grabbed headlines at CES 2026, one of the world’s largest consumer electronics exhibitions, held in Las Vegas from 6 to 9 January.
Three of the city’s rising tech stars took home CES Innovation Awards, bringing worldwide attention to the city’s largest ever contingent to exhibit at the show.
The Hong Kong Tech Pavilion was co-organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation.
Widemount Dynamics Tech was named Best Innovation for Product in Support of Human Security for All for its smart firefighting robot, designed to detect fires and determine the most effective way to extinguish flames.
Two participants received accolades in the Digital Health category. PointFit’s wearable monitoring device tracks lactic acid during exercise for professional athletes, removing the need for expensive and invasive blood tests.
Meanwhile, Eieling Technology’s portable liver screening device was also recognised for its breakthrough capabilities, delivering medical-grade assessments in just 30 seconds.
The three companies were among the 61 members of the Hong Kong delegation, comprising both early-stage and mature companies, showcasing products and solutions across AI, robotics, health and sustainability.
Other innovations on show included GumAI, a smart oral-healthcare solution developed by Dentomi, and the launch of wuBiee from healthtech company moftBODY – a textile band embedded with sensors that provide therapeutic pulses.
A packed line-up of product demonstrations, pitching sessions and networking receptions accompanied the tech displays, attracting strong interest from buyers and investors keen to explore new innovations and potential partnerships.
The HKTDC has been showcasing Hong Kong innovations at CES for over 40 years, empowering the city’s evolution into a hub for innovation and technology.
HKTDC Associate Director, Business Development, Exhibitions and Digital Business Vivian Chan said: “The HKTDC is committed to facilitating more technology-driven, cross-border business deals and investments riding on our global network of over 50 offices, reinforcing Hong Kong’s position as a regional and global innovation hub.”
This year’s presentation at CES marks the first in a series of showcasing initiatives organised by the HKTDC for Hong Kong’s tech sector. Other events on the calendar include VivaTech in Paris, MWC Barcelona and the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai.
