China–ASEAN Constellation

The China–ASEAN Constellation is a collaborative regional effort aimed at establishing a shared AI satellite network. Co-led by STAR.VISION and ASEAN partners, this initiative plans to deploy 12 low-Earth orbit AI satellites between 2025 and 2030, comprising SAR, hyperspectral, and multispectral varieties. This Constellation enhances capabilities in premier agricultural monitoring, disaster management, marine surveillance, and smart city initiatives, featuring a central control center supported by three regional ground stations. Additionally, the project fosters the transfer of space intelligence technologies, stimulates local industrial development, and encourages sustained collaboration between China and ASEAN through a public-private partnership framework.
