Overview Zenith Renewable Energy Corporation (ZREC), through its Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), Green PV Energy Corporation, is developing a 49.9 MW AC ground-mounted solar project in Libmanan, Camarines Sur, Philippines. Expected to begin operations in end of 2027, the project will generate 102,918.6 MWh annually. Strategically located on a 50.34-hectare site with abundant sunlight and direct access to a 69kV transmission line, it is well-positioned to support the region’s growing energy demand. Strategic Location Situated on Luzon Island, near major economic centers, in Libmanan (awarded the 2024 Seal of Good Governance for local governments), and on a site with direct access to the national grid. Regulatory and Market The Philippines ranks 2nd globally in emerging markets for renewable energy investment, based on its strong core strengths, opportunities, and experience in the sector (BloombergNEF, 2024).
