Integrated Tourism Development in Maldives

项目简介
MITDC is looking for investors who are interested in investing in different integrated tourism projects at various locations in the Maldives. These investments can include development of guesthouses, city hotels and other ancillary services. These developments will be focused on inhabited islands where tourism will be brought out alongside with the local community. MITDC is looking for equity investors who will be willing to invest in such projects on a profit-sharing basis. MITDC is also currently looking to develop an integrated tourism development project in an uninhabited island in Laamu Atoll which is over 70 hectares, and requires a minimum investment of USD 200 million. This island will be designed and developed as the largest integrated tourism project, with bungalows, hotels to boutique hotels, café & restaurants, clubs & bars, spas, water sport and dive centers, sports facilities, theatres, therapy clinics, convention centers, and theme park. Investments in these projects will create a range of options in complimentary services, allowing investors the opportunity to capitalize on the middle market - one of the largest segments in the global travel and tourism sector. Each property type will be positioned to cater to the specific requirements and needs of the expected demand generators.
