The Silk Road International Film Festival celebrates cinema presenting international films with a special Silk Road selection of films from countries, which were once part of the historical network of the Silk Road ancient trade routes which focuses in particular on Asian, Arab, Persian, Middle Eastern, African, Mediterranean and European cinema. The festival is committed to supporting & promoting the Belt and Road Initiative by aiming to build a film network that integrates resources, develops new opportunities and promotes the “Belt and Road” concept.
Founded in 2012, the festival takes place yearly during the month of March in Dublin, Ireland.
