With an average weekday patronage of about 5.9 million passengers, MTR is regarded as one of the world's leading railway operators for safety, reliability, customer service and cost efficiency. The Corporation now operates eleven railway commuter lines, a light rail network, and a high speed rail connecting to the Mainland of China. In addition to its railway operations, the Corporation also involved in a wide range of business activities.
