(只提供英文資料) Tashkent-Samarkand Toll Highway Construction Project

The project envisages the development of a new 282-kilometer, six-lane toll highway connecting Tashkent and Samarkand, with a total investment of approximately USD 2.2 billion. The project includes 92 bridges, 28 overpasses and 60 underground pedestrian crossings, as well as modern road safety and digital traffic management systems. The highway is designed to accommodate approximately 60,000–80,000 vehicles per day, reduce travel time between Tashkent and Samarkand from around 5 hours to 2.5 hours, and lower freight transportation costs by approximately 20–24%. The project is expected to strengthen regional connectivity, facilitate trade and logistics, and stimulate economic development along the corridor.
