Potential project sponsors (as strategic investors) are preparing to submit proposals for an electricity transmission line project (under BOOT model with a concession for 20 years) in Uzbekistan (Ref: Project 20 - SPV Transmission Line), which the sovereign wealth fund of Uzbekistan - the Uzbekistan Fund for Reconstruction & Development (UFRD) is committed to taking a stake. The off-taker will be the National Electric Grid of Uzbekistan, paid in USD. Project sponsors welcome financing proposals and professional services which can add value to their proposal submission to the Uzbekistan side. The project sponsors are multinational corporations with international construction and operation experience of such assets.
