Government Social Housing and Urban Development

項目簡介
As one of New Zealand's key national level policies, the government has taken the lead in establishing Kāinga Ora-Homes and Communities (KO) to focus resources on addressing affordable housing in New Zealand. The Mt Roskill development is one of the key elements of Auckland's urban development programme. The area has excellent schools, parks, walking and cycling trails and great places to eat, all within a 15-minute drive of Auckland's CBD and popular beaches. The Mt Roskill development is bigger than its name and extends far beyond Mt Roskill itself. With more than 10,000 new homes coming in the next 10-15 years, the refurbished neighbourhoods, amenities and infrastructure will attract even more investment and make this booming area an even more desirable place to live. The Roskill South project is located south of the overall Mt Roskill development. The project will renovate 260 existing older homes and add over 920 new homes. When completed the project will provide more affordable homes for the market, (including KiwiBuild and long term rentals), as well as market homes. The new homes are designed and built to New Zealand National Modern standards and will include double glazing, insulation and modern materials as well as internal and external fittings. The final product will include a mix of detached homes, duplexes and flats.
