Founded in 1980, hpa, officially known as Ho & Partners Architects Engineers & Development Consultants Limited, is one of the major multi-disciplinary architectural practices in Hong Kong. The company is on the “Band 1” List of Architectural Consultants since 1992, and the List of Building Surveying Consultants kept by the HKSAR Government since 2013.hpa is also the first local architectural practice certified with ISO 9001. In 2014, through CEPA (Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement between Mainland and Hong Kong), hpa was the first Hong Kong architectural practice (wholly owned) to be awarded with Grade A Qualification in China by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People’s Republic of China. In 2008, 2012, 2017 and 2019, hpa was ranked one of the top 10 architectural practices in the BCI Asia Top 10 Awards. hpa has its architectural design footprint in more than 60 cities across 12 countries, including Mainland China, Hong Kong, United Kingdom, Macau, India, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Philippines and other countries in South-east Asia and the Middle East. Its completed projects include large-scale and high-rise residential developments, villas, public housing, Grade-A office buildings, corporate headquarters, 5-star hotels, shopping malls, hospitals, elderly homes, airport and railway related projects, universities, libraries, cultural complexes, museums, sport fields, entertainment centres and industrial undertakings. The practice has also undertaken planning projects ranging from 5 to 500 square kilometres in Mainland China, India and South-east Asian countries. Many of its completed projects received honourable mentions, merits and design awards.
