About this project
The project is a run-of -river hydroelectricity station with 4 turbines and 884MW installed capacity. It can generate 3.212 billion GWh annually. The construction period is 72 months with 30 years of franchising rights (construction period excluded) using a BOOT construction model. The debt-to-equity ratio is 75% to 25%. The debt capital is provided by the Export-Import Bank of China and the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. On 31 December 2016, the financing of the project ceased and the construction began. The expected capital internal rate of return is 14.37%. The China Gezhouba (Group) Corporation (CGGC) owns 98% of shares of the project company. It is seeking investors to join the investment.
