Hong Kong is “ahead of the game” for insurance compared to other Asian centres with a very substantial market, says Denis Duverne of AXA Group. Speaking beside the Asian Financial Forum 2019 (AFF) he says the “new economy” with its digital applications is a fantastic opportunity to introduce new Asia-focused insurance models, while Hong Kong – AXA’s regional centre – may be leveraged for Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area insurance needs.
