Trade tensions between the US and China could result in a truce rather than a solution, said former President of the World Bank Group Robert Zoellick. Speaking beside the Asian Financial Forum 2019 Mr Zoellick said global trade may be undergoing a structural shift that Hong Kong – with its part in the enormously growing international trading system – should do well to consider. AFF 2019 offered participants a sense of the “issues over time”.
Speaker:
Robert Zoellick, former President, The World Bank Group, former US Deputy Secretary of State, former US Trade Representative
