The Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) is a multi-disciplinary organisation established by statute in 1967 to promote productivity excellence through integrated advanced technologies and innovative service offerings to support Hong Kong enterprises.

 

HKPC is the champion and expert in Industry 4.0 and Enterprise 4.0, focusing on smart living, smart mobility, IoT & 5G, cyber security, AI & robotics, cyber security, green technology, training & upgrading, to help enterprises and industries upgrade business performance and enhance competitiveness.

 

To help Hong Kong SMEs and enterprises explore potential markets in the Belt and Road countries, HKPC has implemented a number of projects for industry associations.  Under the projects, HKPC drew on its technical expertise to help participating industry players highlight the competitive advantage of their products in Hong Kong pavilions, marketing platforms, networking sessions, and competitions held by HKPC.  Industries served included footwear, eyewear, apparel machinery, medicine and health food, baby products and nonwoven products. 

 

HKPC also adopts a Greater Belt Area (GBA) strategy which serves as a springboard to radiate out its services to the Belt and Road countries.  Under the strategy, HKPC leverages its expertise in Industry 4.0 and Enterprise 4.0 to support enterprises in high-value production and establishes partnership with Mainland authorities and associations to promote advanced technology solutions.  HKPC also organises GBA seminar series to acquaint Hong Kong enterprises with the latest development and local government support measures in the area.
