Construction of Broad Gauge Railway

The construction of the new railway between Košice (Slovak Republic) and the Twin-City region Vienna-Bratislava will result in a high-performance rail system that will connect Europe and Asia. Four countries (Austria, Slovakia, Ukraine and Russia) work together via Breitspur Planungsgesellschaft mbH (BPG) to connect Central Europe, Ukraine, Russia and the rapidly-growing Asian markets.
