Myotha Industrial Park City (MIPC) is an industrial city development that includes industry, golf course, residential, commercial, covering 11,403 acres in Mandalay. It is strategically located at central Myanmar, the crossroads of China, India, and South East Asia and has connections via Asian High Way, riverway via Semeikhon Port, (SMP), a jetty port along Ayeyarwady river also developed by MMID, railway and air transportation, making it the ideal place for an industrial and logistic hub. MIPC is master-planned by Singapore-based State & City Planning Consultants, the infrastructure constructions started in 2014. By the end of 2019, Myanmar Investment Commission(MIC) has approved over $600 million of foreign investments to be invested inside MIPC and SMP. MIPC is a joint development between Mandalay Region Government(MRG) and MMID with full support from Union and MRG in stable power supply, policies, and incentives. MIPC is looking for infrastructure development partners, industrial estate management partners, and investment in different fields, e.g. industry, commercial, residential, recreation, education, etc., together vision MIPC to be the model industrial park development in Myanmar.
