Kenya - Konza Technopolis

Konza Technopolis is a sustainable, world-class city, a flagship project of Kenya’s Vision 2030 that was established by the Government of Kenya to play a major role in increasing capacity for innovation, quality research and development, and collaboration across academia, industry, and the Government. The Technopolis is anchored on three main pillars; Information Communication Technology (ICT) and Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES), Life Sciences, and Engineering. The Technopolis sits on 5,000 acres of land and is set to be developed in three phases. Currently, the Government of Kenya is in the process of implementing Phase 1 (400 acres) of the Technopolis’ horizontal infrastructure.
