UAE - DEWA - Hatta Wind Power Plant

The project involves the construction of a wind power plant in the Hatta area, Dubai, UAE. It will be located on a high plateau of Hajar Mountains and is set to be the first wind power plant to be implemented by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA).

This is a latest proposal by DEWA to use wind power that supports the objectives of the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050 (DCES 2050) to diversify the energy mix in Dubai, to make the Emirate a global hub for clean energy and green economy, and provide 75% of Dubai's total power output from clean energy by 2050.
