United Arab Emirates - Concourse 1 & West Terminal Building (AMI-400) - Al Maktoum International Airport

The project involves the construction of the Concourse 1 and the West Terminal building spread over an area of 1.7 million square meters located in Al Maktoum International Airport. The project will connect with basement footprint to house the future services of the airport, such as people mover tunnels, baggage handling systems, a ground services road network and other technical and support facilities.

It will also include the foundations, basement walls, columns, basement slabs and top slabs for the first 2.7-kilometer long concourse, short-term car par, and staff car park, with a depth exceeding 18 meters underground. It is estimated that the project will require 5 million cubic meters of concrete and 1 million tonnes of steel. Al Maktoum International can accommodate 130 million passengers per year.
