It will serve as a meeting point, literally and figurative, for the regional stakeholders of global supply chain and logistics management, and also function as an interface between industry and academic partners. A major role of the Institute is to facilitate communication between regional stakeholders, sharing their mutual interests in advancing the development of supply chain and logistics in the region. The Belt and Road Initiative (including the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area) is one of the main research fields of the Institute.
