India - GMR Airport Sale (Minority Stake)

Sale of GMR Airports, a subsidiary of GMR Infrastructure has a GMR group's airport assets valued at USD 3.4bn. GMR Infrastructure which has energy and highways business has 91.95% stake in GMR Airports. The proposed equity sale could generate USD 979m which would help to reduce the debt of USD 2.78bn to USD 1.74bn. The annual operational capacity of GMR-run airports is 87m passengers.
