Bulgaria - Sofia Airport Concession

The relaunch of the Sofia Airport Concession in Bulgaria. The tender is for a private partner to oversee the construction of a new terminal, as well as manage and operate it for 35 years.

The tender includes the construction of Terminal 3 - to be completed within 10 years of the start of construction - as well as the modernisation of visual air navigation systems and other equipment. The inclusion of the third terminal clause in the agreement (which will require a minimum EUR 120m investment) has, however, sparked concern among investors.
