Bulgaria - Zimnicea-Svishtov Bridge PPP Project

In April 2019 the Romanian government approved the fourth PPP in Romania's new PPP pipeline, involving the construction of a bridge across the Danube between the town of Zimnicea on Romania's southern border and Svishtov on Bulgaria's northern border. The project, which the eventual private partner is likely to operate as a toll road, is due to be procured in partnership with the Bulgarian government.
